My Worldview as of 16 APR 2025 by Asterion 16 APR 2025 This is something I'm going to update irregularly. It's meant to be an honest exposition of my worldview that I can go back to later. I'd rather not focus on politics 100% of the time because it's making me neurotic. I think much of my ideas are inspired by nihilism, or a form of nihilism that comes from some agnosticism. There are things that I don't believe are knowable by humans, nor should we vainly struggle to know them. This probably comes from me being an idiot who either can't or is too impatient to fully understand complex things. Axiology? I don't think about it too much. I think morals are inherently subjectively since they're parameters created by consciousness rather than physical properties. "Live and let live" seems to be the morality I personally prefer. In the absence of answers to our big questions, we should just enjoy ourselves and allow others to do the same. You may consider this a form of "absurdism", but only because Camus is a Reddit meme. I haven't read him and I don't know anything profound he said that's not only different from my perspective, but makes it worth rebranding myself. As for politics, I'm an anarcho-nihilist first. I resent the authoritarianism, impotency and ash worship of traditional left politics—even left-libertarian. But besides that, I'm a collapsitarian/survivalist. I was born in a unique time where this rotten system I don't like may collapse (or at least become unstable) in my lifetime. The silver lining to this otherwise dreadful event is that it gives me and others an opportunity to be freer, and thus it's worth preparing for. Here are some works of literature that might be relevant: Blessed is the Flame: an introduction to concentration camp resistance and anarcho-nihilism by Serafinski Desert by Anonymous The Ego and His Own by Max Stirner 8 Points of Houdinism — Finding the Miracle Escape by Erik Houdini
